The Cournoyer Funeral Home of Jaffrey has welcomed a new funeral director to its staff: Christopher M. Wilder.
Wilder and Mark Cournoyer had similar experiences in entering funeral service. In 1992, Cournoyer served his apprenticeship under the tutelage of Tom Eaton when he owned the Fletcher Funeral Home in Keene. Wilder joined Fletcher Funeral Home in 2005 as an apprentice and became a licensed funeral director in 2008.
More recently, Wilder had been the managing director and location manager of the Fletcher Funeral Home, working for the current owner, Service Corporation International (SCI) based in Houston, Texas.
Wilder continues to be available to all families in Cheshire County and across the Monadnock Region in their time of need, focusing on the ever-important compassion, trust, and quality of service families deserve and have come to expect.
Joining Cournoyer, the oldest family-owned funeral home in the Monadnock Region, Wilder continues that exceptional level of service from a new location.
