There was only one goal to go around Monday as Mascenic field hockey took on undefeated Stevens – and the Vikings claimed it. Sydney Dilda put it in the net off an assist from Shania Lampinen, and Mascenic handed Stevens their first loss of the season, 1-0.
Mascenic (3-1) is off until Saturday’s homecoming game, when they host Conant (0-3) at 12:30 p.m. Conant has yet to score this season, though they were in action against Monadnock (6-0) at press time Wednesday. Of course, Monadnock has yet to allow an opponent goal thus far this season.
