KeeneLegislative forumon childrenand families

Impact Monadnock and the American Democracy Project of Keene State College are co-sponsoring a “Legislative Forum on Children and Families in the Monadnock Region” in October.

The well-being and success of young children and their families has a tremendous effect on the future of the Monadnock region.

The forum will be an opportunity to hear from experts about critical issues surrounding early childhood development and a chance to talk to local legislative candidates about their positions on these issues.

The forum will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 10, with doors opening at 5:30 pm, in the Mabel Brown room in the Lloyd P. Young Student Center at Keene State College.

Thelegislative forum is free, and the public is encouraged to come, ask questions, and inform themselves about the candidates prior to the general election on Nov. 8.
