The Rindge Woman’s Club is gearing up for its largest fundraiser of the year.

The 43rd annual Harvest Fair will take place on Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rindge Memorial School. The fair brings together a mix of food and craft items, all available for purchase.

“It’s such a fun, community spirited event,” said Rindge Woman’s Club member Roberta Gordenstein. “It’s also a great way to help a lot of nice people.”

The Rindge Woman’s Club is an organization that devotes their time to helping community efforts, both through volunteerism and financial donations.

“Most of our money is in and out,” said Gordenstein. “We are a do-gooder organization that tries to help the community.”

Some of the projects that the Woman’s Club supports include the Boy and Girl Scouts, Camp Quest, and the Rindge Recreation Department. Additionally, the club has created multiple $1,000 scholarships that benefit Rindge women and high school graduates in furthering their education.
