To the editor:
I am asking voters for your support on Sept. 13 in the New Hampshire state primary. I am seeking to receive the nomination for one of our two state representatives on the GOP ticket.
I’ve decided to run again because I believe that the political climate in our state is failing, and this election cycle is a time for someone like me to step up to the plate as a leader, innovator, and problem solver. As a college freshman and ConVal alumni, I really believe that my viewpoint will help to solve problems in this state with sensible solutions that work for everyone.
I’m frequently turned off by the amount of partisan games we are seeing this election – in our state and on the national stage. I want to change that and focus on bringing people together, not as Republicans or Democrats but as human beings who have common interests to grow, live and prosper in the great state of New Hampshire and within Peterborough. If we want to see real changes come about for our state, we need to focus on electing people who are going to bring people together, not continue to drive us all apart. We need to focus on building our communities, improving our schools, providing essential services in the most efficient and sensible way possible, and finally leave the state better than we started. Without people in Concord who actually care, and who want to make a difference and make things better we won’t see any progress in our state toward any of the issues we all find important.
I am asking for you all to write-in River Marmorstein for the state representative seat on the GOP ticket alongside my colleague and friend Gary Carpenter.
