Trumpet, the fine arts and idea gallery, is holding a hat party, “I Like Your Hat!”.
The idea is to encourage people to create their own version of the best hat. There will be prizes for the most original, the funniest, the biggest, the tiniest, the superest, the prettiest, the scariest, and the most outrageous hats.
Photographs will be taken of participants wearing their hats to be posted on the Trumpet website.
All ages are welcome to enter the contest.
The entry fee is $20. Deadline to enter is Sept. 15.
The event will be held at the Trumpet gallery on Friday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Hats created for the event can be put on display in the gallery and be available for sale.
Admission to attend the party is $10 for those who are not participating in the contest.
