The New England Diamond Devils softball organization will hold tryouts on Sunday Aug. 21st at Franklin Pierce University’s Pappas Field for the 2017 summer season. The program is under the direction of former ConVal High and current Keene High School softball Coach Jim Coppo.
Coaches include former ConVal All-State players Shauna Whittemore and Kelly Shirk, along with Murdock High varsity Coach Mike Fontaine, Keene High Coach Ralph Bartlett and other local products.
The program will have teams at the 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U levels as well as a Diamond Prospect showcase team.
10U — 2 p.m.
12U — 3 p.m.
14U/16U — 4 p.m.
Registration begins a half hour prior to tryout times. Winter conditioning sessions begin Jan. 10, 2017. Players are welcome and encouraged to participate in their local leagues in addition to NEDD.
