Six members of the Franklin Pierce University women’s bowling team have been named to the 2015-2016 National Tenpin Coaches Association All- Academic Team, as announced earlier this summer by the NTCA.
A total of 163 student-athletes from 32 schools were represented among this year’s honorees. In order to be recognized, student-athletes must have maintained a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average through the 2015-2016 academic year.
Sophomores Jessica Marcure, Rachel DesRuisseaux and Kaitlyn Poirier each earned their second career Academic All-NTCA honor. Meanwhile, junior Colleen Kelly, sophomore Jessica Davies and freshman Stephanie Radley each earned their first Academic All-NTCA recognition.
Colleen Kelly was also one of 12 student-athletes at Franklin Pierce to finish the spring semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
The Ravens finished the academic year with a 3.25 team GPA, earning recognition from the NTCA at the team level, as well.
