Circus Smirkus will visit the region for performances on two weekends in July.

Vermont’s award-winning international youth circus is back on the road with its 2016 Big Top Tour, celebrating more than a quarter-century tradition of bringing circus acts to towns all over the Northeast.

This year’s troupe hails from thirteen states, including Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

There will be four shows at the Cheshire Fairgrounds in Keene, presented by the Monadnock Waldorf School. Performances at 1 and 6 p.m. will be held on Monday, July 11, and Tuesday, July 12.

Four shows will be held at the Hampshire Hills Athletic Club in Milford at 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, and 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 31. These performances are hosted by Flying Gravity Circus.Tickets can be reserved by calling 1-877-SMIRKUS toll-free or visiting smirkus.org.
