The Monadnock Center for History and Culture was selected by the editors of New Hampshire Magazine as “Best of NH 2016” for Progressive Historical Society.
Winners will be celebrated at the Best of NH Party on Thursday, June 16, at the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester with an evening of food, live music and festivities, that benefits the New Hanpshire Food Bank.
“At the Monadnock Center, we are dedicated to preserving the past and to being a vibrant community partner supporting arts, culture, and the local economy,” said Monadnock Center Executive Director Michelle Stahl. “It is an honor to be recognized for our efforts.”
The Monadnock Center’s museum, archives, and performance space are located in the heart of downtown Peterborough. Open year-round, the center produces a rich calendar of concerts, talks, exhibits, tours, and performances.
