On Friday, Francestown celebrated Memorial Day with a parade and a cemetery wreath ceremony. Children leave red poppies at the grave for the unknown dead, and music teacher Lucius Parshall, led elementary School students in song. In Greenfield, veterans also gathered for a parade.
