Melonie Ojala drove in four runs as Mascenic softball destroyed Hinsdale for the second time in a week, 17-2. Hannah Tucker hit two doubles and a triple, and Casey Wayrynen went 3-4 with three runs scored.
Autumn Firmin got the pitching win.
Mascenic is still undefeated at 7-0. The Vikings were set for their toughest test of the season so far, at Campbell Wednesday night after press time. Mascenic hosts Newport (3-4) today at 4 p.m.
