Cooper Wayrynen and Travis Rautiola combined to allow two hits against Hinsdale Monday as Mascenic baseball beat the Pacers 7-1. Wayrynen struck out eight in five innings and Rautiola struck out four in two. Rautiola also stole three bases in the game.
Mascenic (6-3) was set to travel to Campbell (8-0) on Wednesday after press time. The Vikings host Newport (1-6) Thursday at 4 p.m.
