The 23rd annual Children and the Arts Festival will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 21, in downtown Peterborough. The theme is Tell Me a Story, featuring books, tales, and adventure.
Performances, activities, and demonstrations will take place in venues all over town, punctuated by the Parade of Giant Puppets at noon. A circus will be held at 9:45, and an a cappella performance at 10.
Volunteers keep the festival running smoothly. We need help all day, including set-up in the morning and breakdown after the acts are finished.
