The Conant girls’ tennis team remained undefeated with a win over ConVal on Monday. The Orioles have yet to lose an individual or doubles match this season.
ConVal was without three of their top six players.
In singles play, Conant got wins from Shannon Bennett, Franka Clauss, Alex Dunn, Megan Wheeler, Esther Varnum and Nicci Munroe. They beat ConVal’s Julia Peters, Lizzie O’Rourke, Anita Anable, Colleen Minnihan, Issy Sylvian and Jillian Karlicek, respectively.
In doubles, Bennett and Clauss beat Peters and O’Rourke, Wheeler and Dunn beat Anable and Minnihan, and Varnum and Munroe beat Sylvian and Karlicek.
ConVal (2-3) was scheduled to travel to Hanover (3-0) Wednesday after press time; they return to action on Tuesday, when they host Hollis-Brookline (5-1) at 4 p.m.
Conant (5-0) travels to WLC (2-2) Monday at 4 p.m.
