Under a plan for reorganization, Eastern Mountain Sports is closing eight stores, according to a statement released by its parent company Vestis Retail Group on Monday. Vestis filed for Chapter 11 the same day.
The Peterborough EMS store is not currently listed among them, though three of the stores slated for shuttering are in New England.
