The Warriors girls’ tennis team started their season off on the right foot with a 5-4 victory over Stevens on Wednesday. Jackie Bird, Kayla Phillips and Emma Krug all won in singles play. In doubles play, the team of Jackie Bird and Jordan Kross won to even the score at four each, and the team of Dani Bird and Kayla Phillips sealed the deal by winning their match.
On Friday, WLC traveled to No. 1 Profile, coming away with a 7-2 loss. The Warriors (1-1) are back in action at Bow (2-0) on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
