The Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce is in search of 60-70 volunteers for the Festival of Fireworks, such as parking, vehicle gate admissions, walk-in traffic, and controlling pedestrian traffic. A team of six will be needed to install security fencing.
The event is hosted by the Chamber, Atlas PyroVision and the Jaffrey Silver Ranch Airpark, and will be held Aug. 20.
There are two important dates for volunteers. An information session will be held on Aug. 17 at the Airpark from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. On Aug. 20, volunteers are asked to be at the Airpark no later than 2 p.m.
There will be special parking for volunteers.
