In the 2016 presidential election, I’m not entirely sure who I will be voting for. I think when I narrow it down, my decision will be between Bernie Sanders and John Kasich.
There are many things that Bernie Sander’s stands for that I agree with, such has his views on taxes and the education system. For Kasich, I agree with his views on abortion and immigration. If I have to choose one, I will most likely be voting for Bernie Sanders.
Many of Bernie’s viewpoints are things that I agree with strongly, like his views on the LGBT community, racial justice, and taxes. Some of Bernie’s main goals are to take America back from the wealthy, make college tuition free without debt, and make the LGBT community more accepted in the country.
For the LGBT community, Bernie wants to sign into bills into law that prohibit discrimination against any LGBT people. He also wants to work with Health and Human Services to ensure that LGBT Americans get the proper health care they deserve, and no one is mistreated.
If college tuition is free and there’s no debt, then more people will be able to get the education they deserve, without having to worry so much about debt. Bernie also wants to reform the tax system, so bigger companies and Wall Street can’t avoid taxes. He also wants to eliminate tax breaks for big oil, gas and coal companies.
Bernie has views on racial justice, and having police forces that reflect the diversity of communities. Also, he would like to fight for equal pay for women, and make health care a right for everyone. He also supports medical marijuana and the decriminalization of recreational marijuana, and has said that he supports the right of states to opt for full legalization, which will help the crime rate go down, and help put a stop to this very controversial topic in the U.S.
Overall, I think Bernie Sanders really cares about making this country great again. He isn’t focusing on just one type of person, he actually cares for everyone. I think many of his viewpoints could really help bring the country back together, and they could solve a lot of issues in America.
Bernie Sanders is the way to go.
