Thank you for your support
This is a very brief but truly heartfelt thank you to our amazing community for stepping up your support of the Peterborough Food Pantry this past week! We’ve collected a record number of donations from the bin at Shaw’s, had many organizations collect food and money and drop it off at the pantry, seen individuals use their Ocean State Job Lot “Crazy Deals” money to buy food for the pantry, etc. We had more customers than ever before in a single week and we’ve already had over 150 families sign up for Thanksgiving turkeys and meals. It is so wonderful to live in such a caring and supportive community. I say this to our volunteers every day: it takes a village!
