The Great Brook School girls’ cross-country team placed first in the Tri-County Division 3 Championship, held Oct. 18 in Nashua, competing against more than 30 teams.
Bradley Allen received an eighth-place medal for the boys, while Cora McNulty (eighth), Laurel Brown (seventh), Makaya Gadson (fourth), and Marissa Hardwick (first) led the girls to victory. The team earned a championship plaque that will be displayed in the school’s trophy case.
Coaches Bell and Kidd praised all the GBS runners for their determination, teamwork and sportsmanship, calling the win a reflection of their hard work and dedication throughout the season.
