In “Resurgence of Eagles in New Hampshire,” Chris Martin, senior raptor biologist for New Hampshire Audubon, will discuss the rebound of bald eagles from near-extinction in the mid-20th century to their comeback today.
Martin has worked with New Hampshire Audubon for more than 30 years, leading conservation and monitoring efforts for endangered and threatened raptors in partnership with New Hampshire Fish and Game.
The talk, part of the Joan Hanchett Nature Series, is a free program for adults and children. It will be held Friday, Nov. 7, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Francestown Town Hall, second floor and is sponsored by Francestown Land Trust, George Holmes Bixby Memorial Library, The Francestown News, and the Francestown Conservation Commission.
