Nova Arts, 48 Emerald St. in Keene, will present two evenings of live music Thursday, Sept. 4, and Friday, Sept. 5.

On Thursday, singer-songwriter and guitarist Peter Mulvey will headline. Mulvey has spent more than three decades touring nationally and internationally, releasing over 20 albums, and collaborating with artists such as Emmylou Harris, Ani DiFranco, and Greg Brown. Known for his inventive โ€œLamplighter Sessionsโ€ and annual bicycle tours, Mulvey blends folk, blues and Americana. Opening will be McGettigan & Gilbert, a duo mixing folk, rock, and jazz.

Fridayโ€™s showcase will feature emerging Keene-area bands. Headliner Stagnox, formed in 2025, fuses pop, punk, goth and electronic influences into an alternative sound. Opening will be Blowflies, a Keene State College group whose debut EP, โ€œHypnagogic Rope,โ€ highlights their experimental style.

Thursdayโ€™s show begins at 7:30 p.m., with doors at 7. Fridayโ€™s show begins at 8 p.m., with doors at 7. Both shows are open to all ages; seating is first come, first served.
