Music on Norway Pond is starting to gather singers for its Jr. Mints children’s chorus this fall.
Conductor Jody Hill Simpson’s rehearsal goal for the fall is for the chorus to live up to its reputation as an essential part of the Noel on Norway Pond/Hancock Family Holiday Concert Dec. 17. The group is open to youths age 6 to 16. Mary Ann Fleming is the accompanist and Ann Conway manages the group.
Twenty-five singers are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. The group meets Tuesdays from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. at the Hancock Meetinghouse, 47 Main St., starting Sept. 27. There are no auditions. Children are welcome to sign up provisionally and wait for two rehearsals to make it official.
