The Jaffrey Woman’s Club dental program for local schoolchildren in need has resumed.

Since 1946, the club has supported the program, most recently through the Monadnock Healthy Teeth program at Monadnock Community Hospital. Since the schools were under COVID restrictions the last few years, the in-school program in Jaffrey was suspended, but it has recently been resurrected with a collaboration between Monadnock Healthy Teeth and Dental Health Works.

Dental Health Works serves Cheshire County and will now include children in Jaffrey Grade School and Jaffrey-Rindge Middle School in its service area. Supplemented by a contribution from the Alice Poole Fund, the Jaffrey Woman’s Club recently presented a check for $1,500 to Louise Danforth, program coordinator at Monadnock Health Partners, Monadnock Community Hospital.
