The Bennington Sportsman’s Club hosted the town’s annual Kids’ Fishing Derby, a beloved town tradition, on Saturday, April 25, at Cold Springs Pond on Bible Hill Road. Casting started at 8 a.m., with more than 40 children and youth, ages 3-15, taking part. The winning participant win a new fishing line. The Sportsman’s Club provided hot cocoa and donuts to participants and families.
