Friends of the late Bob Gammel, who died in 2015, are looking to give a Mascenic Regional High School graduating senior an award in his honor.

Gammel was known as a “town ambassador” when it came to helping youths, including donating money and athletic equipment to children in the community so that they could participate in athletic programs. His friends are looking to commemorate his impact by accepting nominations for a deserving MRHS graduating senior who will receive an award in his memory.

Nominees do not necessarily need to be pursuing a post-secondary education, but like Gammel, should be seniors who are known for being “a friend to everyone” and show a willingness to go out of their way to help others. Community members, MRHS faculty, staff and peers are encouraged to send nominations to Kari Lowe at healthwellnessnh@gmail.com. Nominations will be accepted until May 1.
