The Franklin Pierce University men’s lacrosse team played host to the American International Yellow Jackets on Saturday afternoon, in a Northeast10 matchup. Senior attackman Casey Burnett scored four goals in the Ravens win over AIC at home on Sodexo Field, 165.
With the win, Franklin Pierce advances their record to an overall of 32, including 21 in conference play.
The winning goalkeeper for Franklin Pierce was sophomore Connor Wacksman as he made eight saves on the day, advancing his record to 31.
Leading the Ravens was Burnett with four goals and three assists, while Jack Carney, Sean Delea and Jake Castorf all had two goals each. Carney and sophomore Brad Chapdelaine both collected five ground balls. As a team, Franklin Pierce totaled 38 ground balls, 64 shot attempts and eight caused turnovers.
The Ravens are in action next on the road today at Saint Anselm at 4 p.m.
