Peterborough Fire & Rescue and the Peterborough Police Department responded to a two-car collision at the intersection of Old Street Road and Route 101 at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28.
vehicle pulling onto Route 101 from Old Street Road was struck by a tractor-trailer traveling west toward Keene, according to Deputy Fire Chief Brian Wall. Emergency medical personnel evaluated all involved individuals at the scene, and one patient was transported to Monadnock Community Hospital for further evaluation.
Route 101 was closed after the accident for about 90 minutes while emergency crews cleared the area.
