Scott-Farrar at Peterborough will host a presentation entitled Memory Care Gardens and How Nature May Heal by nationally renowned landscape designer, Rob Hoover, on Thursday, October 6 at 4 pm.
Hoover designed the therapeutic Lilac Memory Care Garden which is located in Scott-Farrar’s new Memory Care Community. Following the presentation, there will be refreshments and the dedication of the Memory Care Garden.
Hoover has over 35 years of experience in the practice of landscape architecture. As founder and president of HBLA, Inc., he specializes in designing therapeutic gardens for senior living, Alzheimer’s disease, and hospice. Recognized nationally as a leader and pioneer in his field, Hoover has designed over 100 projects and his designs have received over 50 awards and special recognition in national publications and international exhibitions.
Scott-Farrar at Peterborough has recently opened in downtown Peterborough, offering seniors independent living, assisted living and memory care options.
