The town of Greenfield has decided to move its voting day to Friday.

Voters in Greenfield will now cast their ballots from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, with Town Meeting still occurring on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Meetinghouse.

Moderator Gil Bliss said Wednesday that the town needed to move election day back three days after election workers backed out due to the pending snowstorm.

Greenfield was initially one of two towns in the Ledger-Transcript’s coverage region to keep in line with the recommendation set forth by the Secretary of State’s Office to keep voting day on Tuesday. Francestown still held their voting day on Tuesday.
