Wilton Peace Action, in collaboration with womensmarch.com, will hold a planning session Saturday, Feb. 11, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the town library to discuss and plan ways to transform the energy at Women’s Marches into local and national action.
The library is located at 7 Forest Road.
Hillsborough County State Rep and Wilton Selectman, Kermit Williams and State Rep. Carol Roberts will speak at the meeting. There will also be a tutorial on Activism and Organizing, postcards from the Women’s March to send to elected officials and print outs of organizing strategies from indivisible.com.
The meeting will be a positive, inclusive, and action-oriented local meeting where marchers and allies can gather together to define next steps as a movement.
The meeting is free and open to the public. For more information, call Amelia Shea at 654-1043.
