Cellist Rebecca Hartka and guitarist Jose Lezcano will offer a performance of mostly Cuban works by Lezcano, Alvarez and others at the Mariposa Museum in Peterborough Sunday, June 12,
The concert begins at 3 p.m. Admission is $10, free for Mariposa members.
As Duo Mundo, Hartka and Lezcano bring nearly a decade of collaboration and tours in Cuba and Mexico to their music. They have appeared on the TEDx stage, as well as venues such as the Longy School in Boston. Their first recording was released in fall 2017 on Becsta Records.
