Peterborough Town Library has started a Movie of the Month club. The group will meet the third Tuesday of the month for a feature film with light refreshments. Mark Holding, a local film buff and former teacher of film studies, will choose the films and lead the discussions.
The first film is “Moonlight,” directed by Barry Jenkins, on Tuesday, May 17, at 6:30 p.m. in the 1833 Room. While the program is open to the public, most films will be rated PG-13 or R and are intended for an adult audience. To see a full listing of upcoming movie picks, visit the event page at peterboroughtownlibrary.libnet.info/event/6546663. All films are screened with permission from Movie Licensing USA.
Peterborough Town Library is at 2 Concord St. in Peterborough and is open Monday to Saturday. For information on this program or other library services, visit peterboroughtownlibrary.org or call 603-924-8040.
