Winter is a wonderful time to experience the night sky, as longer nights and cold, dry weather make for fantastic star gazing.
On Friday, Jan. 15, from 7 to 8 p.m. via Zoom, join the Harris Center and David McDonald of the McAuliffe- Shepard Discovery Center to find out what to look for in the winter sky, including how to find specific constellations. Heโll also show the sky as it is theย very night of the presentation, using special software to highlight planets, galaxies, and other celestial objects.ย
For more information and login details, register at harriscenter.org/events. The event is co-sponsored with the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center.
