On Saturday, Aug. 31, Scott-Farrar at Peterborough held a yard sale fundraiser to benefit the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Residents, staff, and local community members donated items for the yard sale. Through the yard sale Scott-Farrar raised over $1,700.
The money raised Saturday helped the Scott-Farrar Memory Makers team achieve and surpass their fundraising goal of $2,500. Scott-Farrar residents and staff will be participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sept. 14 in Keene.
“We are really grateful for all the donations and assistance we got from our residents. It was a real team effort in making this yard sale event the success it turned out to be.” explains Jenn Beyer-Matuszek, Social Programming Director at Scott-Farrar.
