To the editor:

The Summer Reading Program at Ingalls Memorial Library was a success this year, and it was all thanks to our generous donors! Kind people, organizations, and local businesses all contributed to help create programming, prizes, and incentives for kids and teens to participate!

Thanks to Charity Lodge #18 and Walmart for donating bicycles as the Childrenโ€™s Summer Reading Program Grand Prize. Local businesses also donated generously to offer gift certificates for the Teen Summer Reading Program.ย Thank you toย Dunkinโ€™, Kimball Farm, Sandwich Master, Subway, Carolโ€™s Ice Cream, and Pizza Pie for helping to motivate teens to read!

Weโ€™re grateful to everyone who helped to support our Terrific Tuesday series, including: Ann and Martha Driscoll, Carele Mayer, Project Shakespeare, Nicol Wander, and the Cathedral of the Pines. Fun events happened all summer long at the library.

Additionally, funding for the Kids, Books and the Arts Finale event โ€“ย the performance of Stories in the Stars by the Hampstead Stage Company โ€“ย is provided by the Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation, CHILIS, Cogswell Benevolent Trust, and is supported in part by a grant from the NH State Council on the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts as well as funds administered by the NH State Library and provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Many thanks to the people and organizations that encouraged the Summer Reading Program, including: Borderline Realty, Despres and Associates, Inc., Pumpkin Organization of Rindge, Triumph Interiors, Inc., Rindge Athletic Menโ€™s Social Club (RAMS), Dr. Roberta Gordenstein, V&A Cleaning, Inc., ATA Construction, LLC, Hannaford Supermarket, Market Basket, Letourneau Construction, LLC, the Rindge Parent Teacher Group, Candice Starrett Real Estate, LLC, Signature Smiles Dental, and the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club.

Everyone at Ingalls Memorial Library appreciates the support from the community that helped to make the Summer Reading Program great!
