Bob’s Chocolate Cafe will host an evening of readings and conversation with local authors Jeanne Bartlett and Jarvis Coffin on Friday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m. at 1 Main St. in Francestown.
Bartlett, a Deering poet and author, explores small-town life, nature, and kinship in her work. Coffin, a Hancock author and former co-owner of the Hancock Inn, writes essays and fiction focused on rural southern New Hampshire, including his collection “Calmly on the Waters: Seasonal Essays from Monadnock.”
David Gleason will facilitate the discussion on how the region shapes their writing, and both authors will present short readings. Admission details were not provided in the announcement.
