A local screen printing business has launched a community fundraiser to support 21 Bar and Grill and its staff following a June fire that forced the family-owned restaurant to temporarily close.
Beeze Tees is selling special-edition T-shirts and hoodies featuring the restaurant’s logo on the front and an image of the building on the back. The fundraiser will donate $20 from every shirt and $25 from every hoodie directly to the restaurant and its employees, who are currently without regular income as repair work continues.
Aside from paying its staff for the printing work, Beeze Tees is donating all proceeds from the sales.
The restaurant has been closed since the June 24 fire. The fundraiser will run through the end of August or until 21 Bar and Grill reopens. Community members can purchase apparel online at tinyurl.com/21barandgrill.
