Lee Newton
The death of Lee Newton, accomplished artist, dessert chef, and gardener, on June 12, 2026, was a sad loss for Monadnock Kitty Rescue and Adoption in Jaffrey where she was a volunteer for many years. Lee’s beloved cat Frieda died the same day Lee did, and we imagine them crossing the Rainbow Bridge together, hand-in-paw. Lee will be missed.
