Mason, NH – Kenneth S. Tibbetts, 80, of Mason, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 15, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Ken was born on January 16, 1946, in Boston, Massachusetts, a son of the late Ralph F. and Alma Jean (Scott) Tibbetts. He grew up in Mason, New Hampshire, and Townsend, Massachusetts, and graduated from North Middlesex Regional High School with the Class of 1964.
His wife, Judith A. (Koch) Tibbetts of Mason, New Hampshire, passed away on March 6, 2026. He leaves his son, Scott Tibbetts of Mason, New Hampshire; three daughters, Kelli Fitzgerald of Pepperell, Massachusetts, and Kristen Tibbetts and Kourtney Tibbetts, both of Mason, New Hampshire; his brothers, Ralph F. Tibbetts Jr. of Rindge, New Hampshire, Douglas F. Tibbetts of Victoria, Texas, and R. Jim Tibbetts and his wife, Cindy, of Milford, New Hampshire; his sister, Jean M. Bayrd of Old Town, Florida; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and bonus grandsons, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Shannon S. Tibbetts, and his son-in-law, Mark Fitzgerald.
His funeral will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11, at 11:00 a.m. at Steeple Fellowship Church, 793 Main Street, Lancaster, Massachusetts. A Masonic service will be performed graveside at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Mason, New Hampshire, on Sunday, July 12, at 5:30 p.m., after which Ken and Judy will be laid to rest together. All are welcome to attend.
