The highly acclaimed Hillsborough band Lonesome Train, featuring New Riders, will return to the Francestown Old Meeting House on Sunday, July 5, to kick off the summer 2026 “Sundays at 4” concert series.
The outdoor performance begins at 4 p.m. on the lawn of the Old Meeting House. Attendees are encouraged to bring dancing shoes, a picnic, lawn chairs, or blankets. In the event of rain, the concert will move indoors.
The six-piece ensemble features Francestown musicians Tony Ludwig and Mark Couturier. The group is known for its energetic blend of blues, country, and early rock ‘n’ roll, drawing heavy inspiration from the raw, 1956 Johnny Burnette rockabilly classic from which they take their name.
The concert marks the band’s third appearance at the historic venue and serves as the opener for the weekly music series, which runs through Aug. 30. Upcoming July performances will feature JD & the Stonemasons, the Twangtown Paramours, and Monadnock Music.
