Project Shakespeare, a nonprofit youth theater education company based in Jaffrey, has received a $2,600 from The Putnam Foundation, a donor-advised fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, to support Project Shakespeare’s tour to England to perform “Hamlet” in August.

Students traveling to England are Benjamin Michaud, Helen Martynuska, LifPetrova, Indigo Wolf, Aurora Sousa, Aram Russell, Samantha Chesney, Harold Thomas McCarthy and Seamus Malloy. They will perform “Hamlet” at the ThoringtonTheatre in Suffolk, England, and will visit both Stratford-upon-Avon and London to attend performances at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and The Globe Theatre. The Putnam grant will help fund this experience.
