The Friendly Farm, located on Route 101 in Dublin, held a soft opening on Friday, May 22, especially for social media followers, ahead of the official opening on May 23.
This is the 50th year under the ownership of Bruce Fox, who purchased the farm from his parents in 1976. The five-acre farm, which is located a half mile west of Dublin Lake, has been operating since 1964.
The lucky attendees on Friday experienced the only nice weather of this year’s Memorial Day Weekend. Families from around the region, and coming from as far at Bedford and parts of Massachusetts, delighted in “baby animals everywhere,” including goats, chickens, rabbits, and a French Charolais calf named Esme, who was born on April 30.
The farm is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily during the 2026 season. Visit friendlyfarm.com for more information.
