The March 3 Wilton Folk Café at Wilton Collaborative Space, 21 Gregg St., will feature world music percussionist and instrument builder Abou Sylla from Guinea, West Africa.

Abou, as a griot (oral historian of the Guinean culture) will perform with friends on balafon, a traditional West African xylophone, dun-dun and djembe drums. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. Admission is by donation. Reservations are advised and can be made by calling 603-654-1245 or sending email to programs@wiltoncommunitycenter.org.
