Conant Middle High School sophomore George Montgomery performed at New Hampshire’s All-State Music Festival on Saturday, April 18, as part of the Concert Band. In the fall, Montgomery auditioned and was accepted to the festival with the second-highest score in the state. This was Montgomery’s second time at the festival, as he was also accepted as a freshman.
To prepare for their performance, band members rehearsed on Thursday and Friday and performed at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord on Saturday.
Montgomery is a sophomore at Conant Middle High School where he is a member of the Conant High School Band.
