The Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club welcomed members of the “Hot Wings” robotics team during its regular meeting April 9 at Franklin Pierce University.
Students Autumn Stone, Kim Leone, Dylan Charles and Aidan Maher of Conant Middle High School’s First Tech Challenge Team No. 17630 demonstrated their robot and discussed its design and mechanics. The team also showed a video and outlined the process behind their award-winning success over the past seven years.
Advisers Larel McKenzie, John Stone and Helen Stone, along with family members, attended the meeting. The team is preparing for international competition at the Canada Cup of Robotics in Niagara, Ontario, scheduled for late spring.
