Antrim Fire and Ambulance responded to a roadside brush fire Friday at approximately 12:30 p.m. Crews contained and extinguished a fire measuring about 60 by 35 feet.

Officials warned that drying fuels and warmer spring temperatures are increasing fire risk, making vegetation more susceptible to ignition. Residents are urged to use caution with smoking materials and all outdoor fires.
