Book donations at the Jaffrey Public Library will continue through the winter, beginning Saturday, Jan. 10.

Gently used books will be accepted Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon in the libraryโ€™s Bean Room. Volunteers from the Friends of the Jaffrey Library will screen all donations before they are added to ongoing book sales on the main floor and lower level.

The Friends are seeking recent hardback and paperback fiction, including novels, mysteries, romance and classics, to restock sale bookcases that are reviewed and replenished weekly.

Proceeds from book sales support a variety of library services, including T-Mobile hot spots for internet access, museum and park passes such as the New Hampshire State Park Pass, access to the Ancestry.com database, and adult programs.

Book donations will be accepted only during these Saturday hours. Donors are asked not to leave books with library staff or in the outside book drop.
