Greenville, NH – Noted piano technician and restorer Eugene I. Roe, Jr., 90, passed away peacefully at the Granite VNA Hospice Center in Concord, NH on December 18, 2025.
Gene was born on Sept. 9, 1935 in St. Paul, MN, and first came to New Hampshire to attend Philips Exeter Academy in Exeter. He later went to Reed College in Portland, OR before moving permanently to Greenville in 1959, purchasing an 18th-century home and surrounding property that would eventually become the Brookwood Ecology Center.
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Roe will be private.
